Design
This electric car is all ready to hit the market with its popular body style. However, the model’s design is something different, allowing the car to stand out from many others in its segment.
With a long, sleek hood and short front and rear hanging, the model is beautiful to look at.
The front comes with a grille and Ford’s logo, but it is not a grille. Overall the Mustang takes a coupe-like shape.
The Mustang Mach-E 2022 is offered in trims, including Select, Premium, California Route 1, and GT models.
You can choose from a color range that includes Ice White (comes in the all-white special edition), bright Grabber blue, Cyber Orange Paint, Iced Blue Silver Metallic, Repid Red Metallic, Star White Metallic Tri-coat, Dark Matter Gray Metallic, etc.
The model comes with the standard 18-inch alloy wheels, door sills, and liftgate.
Within the car, the model’s upholstery comes in the color standard Black Onyx Active X.
As you move up the ladder of the trim level, you have light space gray (premium), copper metallic stitching (GT), and the list goes on.
The model can offer a comfortable ride for four people, with extensive headroom and legroom.
The front seats can be manually adjustable and cargo capacity of 29.7 cu-ft and 59.7 cu-ft when the rear seat is folded.
A flip-up armrest is also present, allowing items to be stored. Optional features include a heated steering wheel, panoramic sunroof, heated front seats, and ambient lighting.
The model comes with a front trunk made out of plastic, making it easier to be rinsed and drained, allowing for the storage of things like ice.
The fabric material used for seats is pretty soft and comfortable. Overall the design is sturdy and comfortable.
Performance
This model is the first All-Electric car in its range, offering its passengers a unique ride on the road.
The 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E comes with two options, the standard range 70.0-kWh battery or the extended one with a 91.0-kWh battery.
The 91.0-kWh battery comes with an all-wheel-drive offered in the trim level GT.
This motor can generate 480 horsepower and torque of 634 pound-feet. The standard motor can generate a horsepower of 266-346 and torque of 317 and 428 pound-feet.
The Performance trim can only reach 0-60MPH in 3.5 seconds, which is impressive, while the GT edition can reach 60MPH in 3.9 seconds.
Technology and Safety
Infotainment features include a 15.5-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, mobile Wifi-hotspot, Bang and Olufsen audio system, the standard 6-speaker stereo AM-FM, SiriusXM (360L), wireless phone charging pad, USB-A, and USB-C available in the front row and second row.
